Absolutely Essential Reading
or using an AI filter because you really don't know anything
My landlord came into my office yesterday, and we talked briefly about the stock market.
“I’ve made more than I have ever.”
He’s a real estate guy and doesn’t really trust anything that he doesn’t control, but the power of the stock market attracts us all.
And in this market, it’s hard not to make money.
The question is, will you keep it?
I try to help in that regard daily. Why work and think about things and not reap the rewards of what you patiently planted?
Two MAIN ways of not keeping your money are if there is war, or a lack of one when one needs to occur
(A time for war, and a time for peace)
and beside war, what kind of governance will we be under?
Communism? Socialism? Democratic?
or…Anarchy?
Which one will allow you to keep your wealth?
The enemies of your outlook won’t come out and say I am an enemy, they’ll come with a smile. A headline. Authority.
Some of the greatest songs cover it better than I ever will so pause and listen to the masters. Loud.
Along with the news, I feel it’s essential to note what www.zerohedge.com has to say daily.
Until that blog came on the scene, it was very time-consuming to find the news they share, and when you did find the news sources, you normally had to pay a lot for it.
But it is a blog, and they are biased, and they need readership just like everyone else, so news and headlines are shaped in a way to get your attention, not to make decisions that will help you out in life, business, and investing (the three essentials).
So when I read stupid headlines, stupid as in useless carbs,I do get upset. And a main reason I try to write daily. To clear up my emotions.
Emotions don’t pay the bills.
So, since 2016, when Trump was in office, and already killed a top general from Iran in Iraq, I finally see in 2026 that American bases are legitimate targets?
Come on…
I argue today … that if you are going to make decisions on War and Peace, allow the media to persuade you on a specific opinion, observe Congress curb Presidential powers, and see what the White House does against its enemies, you MUST study to the best of your abilities
First question, I guess, comes down to this essential moment between Scott Bessent and a congresswoman
“Do you know who the President was during World War I?”
The way I read this is an essential question you must decide for yourself and disagreed with my mentor Scott Adams (I can say that by the amount of hours I listened to him)
“History doesn’t exist”
This is a key and fundamental dichotomy. If history doesn’t exist then we make our own future and own truth.
I believe that history repeats if we don’t learn from it. But here’s the rub, history repeats anyways right? So what’s the point.
So cynical! No it’s not the point. When you see something coming a mile away, you prepare for it and work hard as hell to mitigate the risk.
So RULES of 2026 as the stock market rages, war rages, and the common man is uncertain.
Does history provide truth to help make your decisions and should you respect jackasses that don’t?
What is the interview, headline, article trying to persuade you
What are the Rules of Engagement in War. What is Standard operating procedures in a war zone.
Just becuase a headline says something doesn’t mean this accepted practice
What is the historical doctrine of American hegemony.
Sphere of influence in the Americas? Europe?
This is not a blame game. Each time period have different leaders for a different reason
Is the alternative to that better? Is it better to allow China to take over Taiwan?
Even if its repulsive…”What ifs” are a great way to clear the clutter
AI is amazing for you to find how professionals in their field operate. So before rushing to a gut opinion an “aha moment” to reconfirm your bias. Think a little bit.
The world is much larger and much more mysterious than one man will every know.
Make it a rewarding day and smile.
There is peace today for most of the world and when the armies attack they have, so far, not targeted civilians unlike basically every war in human history.
Regards,
Eric
