Breaking the 1 mile record
Teaches all you need to know about investing
The time it takes to go 1 mile has held allure for humanity. Not only how fast can we go but endure the friction at that distance.
It was said to be impossible.
The first person to break the four-minute mile was Roger Bannister, but subsequently it was being broke more often than not following that historic run.
Over 2,000 athletes have since accomplished this feat.
This year, a Scot broke the record with a 3:42 run.
So from 1954 - 2026, 72 years. The record was broken by 18 seconds.
Or 4.5%
Just 4.5%
The reason I bring this to your attention is that you are probably saying something along the line that you can’t achieve the goal you set out for yourself.
My response is that for any goal you are aiming for, it has been done before, the public record of the accomplishments are there and can be a yardstick for you.
That is why you stick to the basics and master it. Eventually you will be able to adapt those principles in a way that accommodate you.
The issue investors have is they are basing their achievements on unrealistic templates.
History shows that greatness isn't usually about doubling performance. The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is often measured in inches, not miles. Investing works much the same way.
Roger Bannister didn't eliminate the impossible. He simply proved it could be done.
Every investor eventually faces their own four-minute mile. The question isn't whether someone has already done it. The question is whether you'll do the work required to join them.
I organized an 8 step methodology so you can be the few to outperform the SP500 and avoid headaches by applying timeless principles and mastering them.
