Did you like Ben Affleck's view on AI?
He was on Joe Rogan and captured a lot of attention
Listening to successful people whose career it is to entertain is very enlightening and be beneficial to your pocketbook.
Even the late Scott Adams was a cartoonist. The success and engagement with so many audiences does give them the benefit of insight that’s rare. He was early on Nuclear energy. You didn’t need anyone else to get a tip of a lifetime.
The other day Ben and Matt showed up to speak with Joe, just another Tuesday in Texas. Who doesn’t like Ben and Matt?
But my focus today is on Ben. You either know Ben Affleck from this famous meme here where the weight of the world is released one puff at a time.
Or as an Actor - We are not in Leave it to Beaver territory her……..
Or as a Producer - Everyone’s corrupt
Or as a Director - Even made Jimmy Carter look good
Or as a Superhero - He fights crime, because the city doesn’t
Or as a Box Office Bomb - It just never works out with him a J Lo
On and off the screen
He’s done very well for himself
Listen and surround yourself with self-made, Boston, natives will make you a little bit more wise. But is there anything you can apply?
What did you think?
My only impression is that he telephoned it in. And ever the actor, he put on his street smart, Wall Street impression for the audience.
It was spot on for Howard Luttnick from beard to voice to content.
He had nice things to say about how the arts and artists are going to be fine because AI, and he named them (good for you), won’t get you to the finish line and according to his taste if AI did it for you the content is garbage.
He made no mention of things that matter to you.
Because while he allows us to feel we are hanging out with him, he has a specific viewpoint and it’s subtle which I appreciate as we have had enough of actors spouting whatever comes to mind.
From my enjoyment of his movies, I get the sense that everyone is corrupt and has a secret or two. But eventually, the government will overcome its weaknesses and save the day. Even the crook has a good day.
The reason he is a great artist, not a paid hack, he is passionate about his views and argues convincingly through plot and visuals. Politics are nicely couched between the narrative and delicious acting. But when you realize the facts are misleading (at least your gut reaction), the facts of real life, then it’s tough to get back into viewing the movie. Then you wonder if it was worth your time.
I don’t think it was Ben Affleck fault on the way it was made because I don’t believe he would have made those mistakes. Yet, it has prevented from seeing Air Nike which I suspect isn’t just about shoes and the success. Again, because they aren’t going to create a 50 cent dime novel.
And yet the movie was horrible and filled with melodramatic and unbelievable turns of events, as Accountant 2, so you really don’t need AI to make it.
It was more a persuasive argument on a world view that I prefer to read and follow on social media.
See!
With this insight, I am making the claim that headlines are amplifying the negative aspects of AI, which provides an opportunity to invest at a lower price.
While it's very true from where he sits, it is also useful for me and everything that I see firsthand in AI work. So learn it, not only will I show some tips on this, but also try to see if there is a use in your business or personal day to day.
