Ice Skating Performance

Nailing it with a smile

Ice skating is demanding. It takes sweat, tears, and I’m sure injury.

But you wouldn’t know it from the skaters in the Pirate ice show we saw at the fair the other day.

Fairs in Florida tend to be late January as the weather is pleasant if you are asking “A winter fair?”

The skaters do flips, hold their partners in dangerous poses, and skate with such speed you think they are going to run right into you and yet they stop at the last minute with a smile and a gleam in their eye.

Obviously, the hard and dangerous is made to look easy with the amount of years of hard work they put into it. But the hardest thing I heard many performers tell me is to SMILE.

Because smiling is the opposite of how they feel. As an audience member, we are not in the mood to know about that. What about me and all the hard work I had to do to get to the show and pay for the ticket?

The great ones will never show you what it took to get to that point in time.

A great movie that captures this is “I,Tonya”

Same thing with most media and businesses, no one is going to tell you the reality.

“All the world’s a stage,

And all the men and women merely players”

Why am I sharing this with you today?

Because the News and Media and Social Media is just one cesspool conveying a specific message with whoever is behind the mic personality.

Everything is entertainment.

You will never know what the truth is.

Especially with the limited time we have.

AI will not add hours to your day, but what will is surrounding yourself with consistent network of people and data so you’ll take note if anything subtle changes.

And when you make that big decision that looks “scary”

Was it really? You were prepared for it.

What’s that old Hollywood saying:

“Famous overnight, but took a lifetime"

Even if they are child stars, they had to have someone besides them who had prepared.

Which is what I’m doing with my book club that covers Benjamin Graham’s view of what makes a stable currency.

And I believe is THE important question of the age.

Why do you think Bitcoin went from $0 to $100,000 and Gold to $4000

No one knows the value of anything.

It’s $5 a month and it motivates me to do this and pay $100 for obscure documents that you can’t find online in PDF format.

And if I don’t get many subscribers and you lurk around, no problem. You will get a lot of benefit from my insights and recommendations of who to read. Recommend it to someone who does need the extra push.

What has fueled me over the past few months is the dream I had of waiting patiently for when I saw Silver having the opportunity to exceed everyone's expectations and to say it clearly, day in and day out.

Not out of fear, and not out of “missing out”, but states the facts as I see them and see how the market will handle it. If you have time, go to all the expensive newsletter services (or cheap ones) and compare.

All the while, as I did this, I was working 16 hours a day and trying to read a bedtime story to my kids.

PS. I suggested looking into this stock for paid subscribers for many days and it’s up 15% today
