IMAX your Profits
and in Life and in Business
Yesterday I shared a thought about using AI for joy and creating your own content. Today, I had some thoughts on how a good movie experience can inspire you to do amazing things.
Many good movies change your perception of things or add value to something you had no interest in participating in
When I saw Inconvenient Truth I was floored but this thing I never heard of called Global Warming and what a nice and caring man Al Gore was. Pure genius.
Persuasion within the most powerful medium is unbeatable.
Which is why a big reason some of the current sleight of films appear revolting is that when sharing a new perception of things, it comes off as lying, which at that point, all bets are off.
Look a movie is a lie already, so a lie within a lie is an onion. And no one likes to have bad breathe. It works with documentaries because it’s an argument that is allowing you to observe a specific truth.
Like a great trial lawyer. I digress.
Earlier today, I was speaking to Ryan Stax who is a F1 fan, and I had no appreciation for it until the movie of the same name blew my mind, as it was emotionally involved in the movie.
And then it hit me that the same thing applies to UFC fighting, Caitlyn Clark, and FIFA; I have no idea why I should enjoy these sports.
I grew up digesting Tennis, NBA, MLB, NFL, and Swimming and Figure Skating (Olympics used to be very popular growing up)
If it’s not important to me, I need a puff piece to know what’s at stake.
The problem, as I see it in Business, writing an email, or book, is you really have no frame of reference to know if you are on the right track…
People will take your money to “help” get you there but won’t tell you
What it takes…
Because they truly cannot only a movie can
Movies help visualize it through images, music, pacing…
So if you are stuck, find a movie that relates to your problems and watch it
But not at home or on your phone, I left out one key ingredient to that visual component
CONTEXT
Where you viewed it at…
I guarantee you that most of the wonderful feeling of any movie you recollect is where you were watching it from and most of the time its 100% more memorable in the theatre.
Never discount that experience.
For me when business was very much like the Michael Keaton’s character in
The Founder
I saw that movie and it gave me a little nudge to keep going.
The highest form of art is cinema.
And the best way to see a film is in IMAX
It’s publicly traded, and as people want experiences, there is no better option.
The stock after 30 years is about to stay above its All time high.
As we have seen. All time highs can go higher…
Make it a great Thursday and subscribe the experience is truly memorable
