January Performance Updates
and Crypto fun
January is over, and 2026 has truly begun. And the day before, we saw a record collapse in Silver. So what to do? What to plan?
My answer would first be to stick to your methodology. Did it hold up over time?
Let’s review some ideas we shared (and the links when we did)
*Fat Dogs - a tongue-in-cheek index on stocks that are rooted in 1000s of years of human history. True fundamentals.
*A simple selection of stocks and how to manage them weekly
*How to invest in Bitcoin and avoid volatility - Place 1 trade a day. It’s a unit of exchange after all.

An Index I created to reveal what the market values regarding essentials I feel are important in this era
F-Firearms, A-Alcohol, T-Tobacco, D-Drugs (Pharma), O-Oil, G-Gold, S-Steel
The Index started at 900 and is now 999
So that’s 11%
SP500 is up 1.4%

9 positions I can monitor easily, with 1.4% of profits
(I based it on a $90,000 portfolio, with $10,000 per position)
The benefit of it is that if you are out of a crashing position. And things tend to balance.
Crypto Fun
As I wrote before, the software I developed to analyze headlines tends to be on the right side of a trend, over time. That’s 7 days of predictions, buddy.
Bitcoin crashed 12% this week, but the strategy is up 11.8%
It’s ready for a few beta registrations and is beginning to open up.
You can always go on chat and ask me about stock, crypto, commodities, or anything else that’s on your mind to see if this will work for you.
Crypto isn’t going anywhere, but that does not mean it won’t be volatile.
My argument, which I am carrying over from yesterday, is that for 99% of you, it’s probably more useful to note daily what's happening. And how you feel about it, then simply crunching the numbers.
We are currently in the grand sweep of history, and unless you have an edge, keep it simple.
What I am presenting to you are methodology to do just that. To keep you in the game, keep you thirsty, so when the opportunity arises, and you are confident in that invisible hunch, you are there to pounce.
Have a great Sunday
