The Buck Stops Here
But Does It, Really?
I saw this and wanted to share with you a brief thought or two.
Well, don’t be surprised. Ken Griffin is an old-time Republican and Trump is not. The true Republicans and why they lost a few elections is for the headline you just saw.
So let’s go down the historical rabbit hole with Harry S Truman.
You know the President who said, “The Buck Stops Here”
The President who dropped the Nuclear Bomb.
He was a straight shooter.
But you never heard this amazing speech by the great Harry Truman
Most likely not.
While everyone talks about the Industrial complex in relation to Ike’s farewell speech, we didn’t hear his predecessors talk about corruption.
It cuts deep. And it can be said with relevance today.
Please listen to it.

When he left office, he retired. He didn’t believe in selling his public service to the highest bidder.
"You don’t want me. You want the office of the President, and that doesn’t belong to me. It belongs to the American people, and it’s not for sale."
This is why you never heard the speech. And he has been relegated to a footnote in history.
He didn’t make corporations rich, but his legacy has enriched the citizens and led to the amazing growth Ike had.
An odd duck, he tried to serve the American people and witnessed the Depression, WWII, and the Korean War.
I ask Kenny boy, would you stare down the 5-star MacArthur and fire his ass?
Or would you run a Republican who everyone thought would win, only to lose to humble Truman?
Presidents, each one, bring something extra that you just can’t duplicate. A great leader arises in this hallowed country.
The American people won’t be fooled again.
